THE GRANDIOSE FESTIVAL OF JAKARTA

Fueled by the vision to turn Jakarta into a retail tourism destination, Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival (JFFF), a grandiose annual event, has been held each month of May. JFFF was brought to life through the synergy of DKI Jakarta’s District Government & Summarecon, supported by the Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers & Entrepreneurs (APPMI), Martha Tilaar Group, MRA Media Group, Metro TV and Esmod School of Fashion.

Ever since its first inception in 2004, JFFF has been an annual event. During its four years journey, this festival has gained popularity not only domestically, but also in the neighboring countries. Taking place in Kelapa Gading, famous as The City of a Million Flavors, JFFF is a valued event among the Indonesian designers to promote their latest wonderful creations.

Fashion Extravaganza is one agenda that never fails to show up in JFFF, parading the beauty and richness of Indonesian designers’ creation. Furthermore, the merry Food Festival is another program not to be missed, tempting the visitors to grab unique prizes while romancing their taste buds. An extravagant agenda is the Gading Carnival, presenting beautifully decorated street floats, entertaining street attractions and attractive lighting techniques.
